Kirkland Middle School
Modular Addition
Schools require a thoughtful construction approach, particularly on occupied campuses where learning continues throughout the project. Due to site constraints at Kirkland Middle School, a modular addition was selected as the most efficient solution to increase capacity. The 13,000 SF facility includes eight classrooms, two science labs, a culinary classroom, single-user restrooms, and a secure courtyard that allows students to safely transition between buildings during passing periods. Located within a quiet residential neighborhood, the project required careful planning and coordination to safely deliver and install 17 modular units on site.

Class A corporate office projects demand careful stakeholder management, lease coordination, and strategic due diligence. Carly has delivered tenant improvements within fully occupied office towers, including workplace buildouts, specialized R&D environments, and hospitality spaces such as cafés and lobby renovations. She has also led feasibility and site assessments supporting long-term leasing strategies. Projects spanning South Lake Union, SoDo, Redmond, and Tacoma required close coordination with landlords, jurisdictions, and project teams to successfully execute work in complex, occupied settings.

Alder & Ash - Sheraton Grand
Restaurant & Kitchen Refresh
Alder & Ash included a full renovation of an existing restaurant space within the Sheraton Grand Seattle at 7th & Pike, delivered within an actively operating hotel environment. The project required complex phasing and coordination to maintain continuous hotel and kitchen operations throughout construction.
Navigating unforeseen existing conditions, supply delays, and coordination with remote design and operations teams, the project was successfully completed for a Memorial Day weekend opening. The revitalized restaurant now serves as a vibrant destination contributing to downtown Seattle’s recovery and activity.
Pike Brewing Company
Industrial
To support continued growth, Pike Brewing Company consolidated its brewing and warehouse operations into a larger SoDo production facility. The project required significant MEP coordination, permitting strategy, and intensive collaboration with specialty equipment vendors to align building systems with brewing operations.
The completed facility enhances production efficiency and positions this iconic Seattle brewery for continued success.
